At Candies Creek Academy our mission is to join with parents to develop leaders who love God and love what God loves. We currently do not have any open positions, however, you are welcome to submit a resume for us to have on file. As the only classical Christian school in Cleveland, TN, we live out the time-tested Christian understanding of the Liberal Arts, guiding our students joyfully through the traditional Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric stages of the Trivium. We offer small classes, strong academics, a genuinely loving working environment, and an unmatched opportunity to shape the hearts, minds, and souls of students for God’s glory.
Requirements for teaching positions:
- Mature Christian faith
- Active member of a local church
- Willingness to affirm and uphold the school’s Statement of Faith
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn and wholeheartedly implement, the classical approach to education
- College or university degree in an appropriate field
Prior teaching experience – particularly in a classical environment – is a plus, but not required for the candidate who is eager to learn.
